As a comparison, Patreon's take goes up to around 20% when you add up the platform, payment processing, currency conversion and payout fees. Depending on where you live you'll owe income tax (often around 10-30%) on top of that and if you live somewhere with comparatively low income tax, your living fees are probably sky high when you add in things health insurance. Also highly dependant on where you live - rent costs.where did you get this imagined post by me.

All I said is people can live off 4k a month. I didn't even come and comment about the game, about development time, about anything else. My whole point I wanted to make is that 4k a month is doable. It didn't even have anything to do with what the devs actually earn on patreon since I was just talking about 4k a month as an income... not 4k as patreon earnings when patreon then takes a cut, and there are taxes applied so it ends up being less than 4k etc.
I don't care how long the devs take, I play other games in the meantime.
Yeah you can't live in extravagance with 4k, but most people who can't live on 4k are probably being really dumb with money. Eating out, buying a ton of shit, and owning 2-3 cars or otherwise leasing a car, and buying houses way over their means locked into mortgages. You can get by on 4k a month if you enjoy a minimalist life style and are single.
Yeah for you maybe, I'd absolutely want that optionalWould love to see mom and or sisters being forced to prostitute themselves, or it's something they decide to do in order to get more money. If they do it as a family effort, then the son can become their pimp. When the customers go home then they get together for family love. By some miracle the son is the only one to get the women pregnant, and they keep working even with baby bumps. Wow, what a fantasy.
My comment about bullying wasn't meant for you but another person who commented several spots above you. As far as DAZ was concerned, my dabbling with it was before I discovered this forum. I've noted how other aspiring and established devs have given asset links to models, clothing, backgrounds, lighting, etc. I may just give it another try in the future but for now, I'm busy trying to finish my two stories that I'm currently writing.I feel I must apologize for a misunderstanding or three. I wasn't trying to insinuate that you were attempting to bully the devs in any way, shape, or form. Nor was I attempting to disparage or cast aspersions on anyone's ability to live off of a limited budget. I, myself, am not exactly wallowing in the proverbial bed o' millions. But that, along with my own game development escapades does make me keenly aware of how much of a sacrifice is required to do this kind of work. It's not just about the monetary juggling, but the sheer time it takes away from family, friends, and a life not chained to the computer. This is not some uncontrollable hell that the devs have been forced into; it is a choice to make those sacrifices for the love of bringing something out of their minds and into the world. To share some lewd bit of fantastic daydreaming with other like-minded misfits such as myself. It really doesn't matter whether or not anyone thinks they can/can't/should/shouldn't get by on some speculative amount of income from the game. What matters is that WillTylor and strenif are willing to give up some of the precious little time we're all allotted in this life to create something that brings a smile, some laughter, and a suspiciously high tissue bill to thousands of absolute strangers. My personal feeling is that it's not much of a stretch for most people to support them in a way that not only shows our appreciation, but helps justify and ease the burden of lost time they have willingly taken upon themselves. Enough drops in a bucket can make for a surprisingly full bucket.
As for DAZ assets being beyond your budget, if you ever decide to dip your toes back into it, please do keep in mind that this is essentially a pirating site and there's a rather comprehensive asset release thread with a dedicated DAZ section. And if you can't find something there, search up Shadowcore or render-state for more assets. Between the three, you can find damn near everything that has ever been released on a paysite, and quite a few things that haven't.
Again, I apologize if my initial comment seemed personally combative in any way.
Technically, there's a decent amount of grind, but you can speed things up quite a bit using the in-game cheat menu. Between that and the event hints, it's possible to move the story along pretty quickly.Am I doing something wrong, or is there a lot of grind in this game? Progress is so slow. I am on the NTR route.

There's a lot of repetition of nothing much happens days to get to key times (thank the Dev for Skip mode) I realise some of that is my fault for the way I've paced event but you can end up with very grindy feeling sectionsYou're doing something wrong if you're grinding.
Make sure you are using the hints in the event tracker on Ryan's phone to see what to do next.
If we had it to do all over again, we'd add in some visual marker on the map for where new content is.There's a lot of repetition of nothing much happens days to get to key times (thank the Dev for Skip mode) I realise some of that is my fault for the way I've paced event but you can end up with very grindy feeling sections
Yeah thats not so much the issue as I only have events I can progress Monday and Friday but that's just the order I did stuff inIf we had it to do all over again, we'd add in some visual marker on the map for where new content is.
As it stands, the quest journal is how we direct players to where they need to go.
Ahh. Ya, that's always been an issue with sandbox-lite games.Yeah thats not so much the issue as I only have events I can progress Monday and Friday but that's just the order I did stuff in
We'll have a PoL out this week.Any news on the update?
Oh, you'll get to do more then that.I have hope that you will eventually be able to spy on your mother and aunt having some fun during their morning yoga.
I don't know what others experienced, but I couldn't figure out how to start the election without looking it up here on the forums. If you'll take a suggestion, a hint for that needs to be added. I came to a point where all the other events on the loyalty path were gated behind that election, and I couldn't figure out how to start it. Then the election took so long to complete, that it was essentially weeks of grinding, with nothing else to do. I'm guessing the intention was to start the election earlier so you can work on other stuff at the same time, but I didn't even know there was a quest I was missing until the gated quest hints mentioned that they were locked behind it. Because Camille/Mandy are still relatively new in the household at that point, I suspect a lot of people would be working on building Camille's stats instead of going to class.Ahh. Ya, that's always been an issue with sandbox-lite games.
As far back as big brother, you eventually get to the point where you are just skipping days to get to the right day and time to progress an event.
We're trying to limit that in .09 as much as possible by having a number of events ether roll out over multiple days, or have multiple repeatable outcomes. This way, during Cami's story, there's always going to be at least one thing you can progress every day.
But I totally get what you're saying.
We've been talking about re-vamping the whole quest system for awhile now. With an improved UI and better hints.I don't know what others experienced, but I couldn't figure out how to start the election without looking it up here on the forums. I'm guessing there will be more content added towards the end of what's available now, but I ran in to something similar trying to complete the lingerie and mother/daughter-time challenges... something like 8 weeks of grinding, with nothing else to do. I enjoyed the game a lot otherwise, but that shit gets pretty damned tedious.
Tbf, with how much work that probably is its probably better to do it with a "new" game anyway. This one is getting pretty big, so cutting off and going with a kind of "season 2" to continue it in the foreseeable future is maybe a way? We've been talking about re-vamping the whole quest system for awhile now. One of these days we'll get to it but right now we're rushing just to get this update out.
we won t nerver have itAny news on the update?
